thebikeyard run many club rides and training sessions for those interested in cycling, some example of these are below.
A 25 mile road ride leaves the bikeyard every week at 8.30am (all riders must arrive at 8:10 am to arrange groups), the groups are split between beginner, middle and advanced groups so you can find a speed that is comfortable to you.
The rides are run and supported by Graham Lock, club trainer, so we can get you back if you have any puncture troubles, these rides are becoming more and more popular and are a great opportunity to ride your roadie regularly and meet new people.

With just shy of 20 regular riders the Thursday night XC rides are a fantastic way to spend your evening, in the mud with your mountain bikes. Leaving from the bikeyard at 6:30pm the rides are led by 2 of the RLSXC riders Michelle Paget and Dave Newton. There are 3 regular routes and now the group are running different member routes so if you have some great rides you want to share, come along

As an essential part of the team training, Graham Lock runs a roller training session at thebikeyard.
Bicycle rollers are a type of bicycle trainer that makes it possible to ride a bicycle indoors without moving forward. However, unlike other types of bicycle trainers, rollers do not attach to the bicycle frame, and the rider must balance him or herself on the rollers while training.
There is a club bike but it may be a requirement that you bring your own road bike and clip shoes, mountain bikes are not suitable for roller training.
